Pete Zillig joins Euro RSCG to run Reckitt

Euro RSCG has hired Pete Zillig as the global brand director on its Reckitt Benckiser business.

Zillig joins from Lowe Worldwide, where he was the global business director on the Nokia Multimedia account across the group. He previously ran the network's Electrolux, HSBC, Braun and Unilever accounts.

His appointment follows Reckitt's consolidation into Euro RSCG from McCann Erickson and JWT last month. He will be based in London and will report to the Euro RSCG Worldwide chief executive, David Jones, and the UK group chairman, Kate Robertson.

Jones said: "Pete's global experience on Nokia, Unilever, Braun and Compaq will be invaluable. This job gives him and us the opportunity to revolutionise the way we work with Reckitt Benckiser."

Zillig joins Euro as questions hang over the agency's Reckitt team. Euro is fighting a legal battle with McCann over whether former McCann staff who worked on the Reckitt-owned Boots Healthcare International business are now the responsibility of Euro under the new TUPE employment legislation.
