PHD and Carat shine at Campaign Media Awards

PHD and Carat were among the big winners at the Campaign Media Awards last night.

In front of more than 600 media and marketing executives at the London Hilton, PHD collected the Grand Prix award for work on brands including Sainsbury’s, and Carat claimed the Campaign of the Year prize with SCA.

Among the media owners, ITV, a more "user-friendly" Mail Newspapers and Global Radio were named the TV, Print and Cross-Media sales teams of the year respectively.

There were also notable wins for Gravity Road for its work on AOL’s Huffington Post UK launch, and Mindshare for its use of data and research for Kleenex.

The event was hosted by Alastair Campbell and included an introductory speech from the chairman of the judges, Walker Media’s Phil Georgiadis.
