Philip Slade leaves PurchasePoint and plans start-up shop

Philip Slade, the creative director of PurchasePoint, has declined to renew his contract and will be launching a new agency.

to renew his contract and will be launching a new agency.



Slade will be joined by senior industry figures whose identities have

yet to be confirmed. An announcement is expected on 7 April once

contractual obligations have been fulfilled. The agency will launch with

four key clients from the drinks and entertainment sector.



’It will be a non-media specific agency,’ Slade explained. ’And, apart

from Circus, there will be no-one else like us around.’



Slade joined PurchasePoint two years ago after a four-year stint as

creative director at IMP. There he picked up an ISP Gold award for a

Lloyds-TSB campaign.
