Philippa Brown and Nick Waters named as UK judges on Cannes Media Lions jury

LONDON - The Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival has named its 31-strong Media Lions jury with Omnicom Media Group's Philippa Brown and Mindshare's Nick Waters representing the UK.

Brown, the chief executive of OMG and of its agency PHD, and Waters, the chief executive EMEA for Mindshare, will sit on a jury headed by Nick Brien, the president and chief executive of Interpublic’s Mediabrands, as the jury president.

Other notable representatives on the jury include Mainardo de Nardis, the chief executive of OMD Worldwide, and Paul Woolmington, a founding partner of Naked Communications in the US.

The winners of the Media Lions will be unveiled at the Cannes Lions Festival on 23 June.

Philip Thomas, the chief executive of the festival, said: This is a highly formidable jury assembling some of the world’s top media minds who will exert much expertise and knowledge in the jury process.
