Tribal DDB has created a digital campaign promoting the launch of Philips' new TV, the Cinema 21:9, which centres on a "frozen moment" film.
Hosted at the new microsite, www.cinema.philips.com, the film, produced by Stink Digital, depicts a still shot of a cops-and-robbers shoot-out sequence, including clowns, explosions, a decimated hospital and plenty of broken glass.
Visitors to the microsite have the option to "spin" through the film’s single-take shot repeatedly, to stop on a specific frame, or to watch it at the preordained speed.
Meanwhile, embedded hotspots enable the viewer to skip to a behind-the-scenes version of the same shot.
