Dave Trott, the former Saatchi & Saatchi London boss Jennifer Laing, Adrian Vickers, the Abbott Mead Vickers founding partner, and James Murphy, the Adam & Eve/DDB chief executive were among the famous names at the IPA’s London headquarters.

The evening was held to kick off the launch of the Campaign photographic archive, a collection of around 300,000 images, many of which have graced the pages of the magazine since its launch in 1968.

Mounted prints from the archive are being made available for sale in the hope of raising thousands of pounds to support HAT’s work.

Nobody entered into the spirit of it all better than Robin Wight. The WCRS founding partner came dressed in fedora, lightweight suit and bow tie, all exact replicas of what he was wearing in a memorable Campaign shot from 1980.
