Pitch update: Intu, Volkswagen, Fox, Samsung Electronics

Iris, Now and The Brooklyn Brothers have been shortlisted in the integrated review for Intu, the owner of shopping centres including Lakeside and Trafford Centre.

Havas and Vizeum are among the agencies due to present to 21st Century Fox in London at the end of this week as part of its $1 billion global media review. This follows meetings in Los Angeles at the start of the month and Mexico earlier this week.

Volkswagen’s $2 billion global media review is also moving forward, with UK staff from Havas, Omnicom and WPP pitching in Berlin last week. New York and Singapore are believed to be the next stops on the VW tour.

Samsung Electronics has consolidated its media planning and buying into Starcom Mediavest Group, moving its UK out-of-home account from Cheil and Rapport in the process. Cheil will remain Samsung’s lead creative agency in the UK. Starcom Mediavest Group works with Posterscope on its outdoor media.
