The review, which is being handled by AAR, kicked off in February.

It’s the Chelsea Flower Show this week. If the bastion of English quaintness is the sort of thing that makes your begonias bloom, then you might consider getting in touch with Agency Insight, which has a creative brief from the Royal Horticultural Society. The botanists’ body has previously worked with Arthur London and Material Works and, in a recent campaign, sent seeds with astronaut Tim Peake to the International Space Station.

Simon Arora, chief executive of discount retailer B&M, held chemistry meetings with Havas Media Manchester, an Omnicom agency and the7stars in Manchester last week. The CEO is running the pitch himself, with the help of AAR, because he does not have a marketing team.

The saga of 21st Century Fox’s $1bn global media review could finally come to an end in August, agencies pitching for the EMEA business have been told. Last week, the entertainment giant split the US business between Zenith and Vizeum. The latter, the incumbent on the £150m EMEA business, is
repitching against Havas Media.

BMB, Fold7, St Luke’s and The Corner have made it through to the pitches for Mencap, which is searching for its first retained agency. The shops have five weeks to prepare. The charity is looking to reposition its brand.
