Pitches will take place in October between four agencies for the Royal Bank of Scotland media account. These are the incumbent, MediaCom, ZenithOptimedia, Vizeum and Manning Gottlieb OMD.
Bupa has drawn up a shortlist for its £10 million media review, including the incumbent, Starcom MediaVest, PHD and the Group M shops MEC and Mindshare. The third or fourth week in September is likely to be presentation-time but agencies are yet to get a brief.
Agencies including the incumbent, Carat, MEC and Initiative have been involved in first-stage presentations with Philips for its global review. Philips is said to be focusing on strategy and planning and will engage with financials after it has a shortlist of two or three agencies.
Despite the rumour-mill insisting it had become a two-horse race, pitches took place this week between Maxus, OMD and the incumbent, Walker Media, for the global Barclays media account.
