All eyes will be on the Tesco pitch next week, where the shortlisted agencies will be competing in earnest for the £100 million account. Final pitches will kick off early next week for VCCP, Wieden & Kennedy and TBWA\Manchester. Oystercatchers is handling the process.
The Marriott European advertising review that is being handled by Will Hamilton's new consultancy, Hamilton Associates, is under way with a shortlist including Anomaly, AMP London, Partners Andrews Aldridge and The Red Brick Road. Pitches will take place next week, with an appointment expected at the end of the month.
Meanwhile, the Direct Line Group's big direct marketing review is drawing to a close after a pitch between MRM Meteorite, Kitcatt Nohr Digitas and OgilvyOne for the consolidated business. A decision is expected imminently.
Tina Fegent, the effervescent pitch consultant, has helped guide the NSPCC through the early stages of its media review. Both OMD UK and MEC have meetings with the NSPCC's head of marketing, Mike Parker, on Friday.
