One of the BBC's incumbent agencies, Karmarama, which has just created the epic "God Only Knows" spot for BBC Music, is no longer involved in the pitch process.

The corporation held a briefing with creative agencies earlier this week to discuss the brief. Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, which is the BBC’s other incumbent, along with Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Saatchi & Saatchi and Wieden & Kennedy, are still in the running to win the business. The BBC claims that it will continue to work with Karmarama in the future despite the shop not making the cut –
although quite what that pans out to be, God only knows.

Meanwhile, the three agencies that have been invited to compete for the Post Office ad account – DLKW Lowe, Engine and Ogilvy & Mather – are busy preparing their pitches for later this month.
