The process is being handled by Oystercatchers and an appointment is due before the end of the year.

Bray Leino is another agency on the new-business trail, pitching for the alcopop brand WKD along with three other shops, including the incumbent, Big Communications. Tissue meetings were held last week, with the brand looking to reposition itself amid increasing scrutiny of alcohol advertising. The account is rumoured to be worth £3-4 million.

There was relief for OMD after the agency fended off competition from Havas Media and Starcom MediaVest Group to retain Eurotunnel’s £8 million European business. The decision ends a pitch that has been dogged by regional procurement and lasted an eye-watering 260 days.
