- Polo Ralph Lauren has named Palmer Jarvis DDB to handle its media planning and buying business in Canada.
Billings for the account were not disclosed. The appointment will see DDB handle duties for the "Polo", "Polo by Ralph Lauren", "Polo Sport", "RALPH", "Lauren", "Polo Jeans Company", and "Chaps", among other brands.
In addition the agency will provide Polo Ralph Lauren with access to the Polo Ralph Lauren extranet, which is currently being developed by DDB Digital, the North American interactive network of DDB Needham Worldwide.
The selection of Palmer Jarvis DDB in Canada follows the appointment in August of DDB Needham Worldwide, which was named to the estimated $40 million (£24 million) US and international media planning and buying business.
