PowerPerfector appoints Good Relations to PR brief

LONDON - PowerPerfector, the energy-consumption reduction technology company, has hired Good Relations ahead of next year's government push on carbon reduction.

The consultancy won the contract after a three-way pitch against other top London firms this summer. The brief includes profile-raising and specific campaigning for powerPerfector in the growing carbon-reduction technology space.
PowerPerfector helps companies reduce their energy consumption by up to 20% using voltage optimisation as a fundamental technology that also improves power quality, generates cost savings, and minimises carbon emissions. It has been adopted by organisations such as Tesco, the Department of Food and Rural Affairs and the Tower of London.

In April 2010 the government's Carbon Reduction Commitment will go live which will insist on carbon reduction for companies throughout the UK.
