PPA Advertising Awards 2013: double wins for O2/ZenithOptimedia, MediaCom and Universal McCann

O2/ZenithOptimedia, MediaCom and Universal McCann have all come away with two top prizes at the 2013 PPA Advertising Awards, held in association with Brand Republic.

O2’s 'Go Think Big' campaign with ZenithOptimedia won both the Innovative Campaign of the Year and Collaboration of the Year categories in the awards, which are sponsored by Active International and Powerlinks.

'Go Think Big' was described as "truly ambitious" by an 11-strong judging panel comprising experts from the media and creative industries.

Universal McCann received the Most Effective Campaign of the Year award, for its WindowsPhone People Powered Print campaign with Microsoft. The agency's H&M Showcases work was named the Integrated Campaign of the Year, and was also a runner up in the Innovative Campaign of the Year category.

As well as winning Digital Campaign of the year (for GSK and Night Nurse - There's a Reason It's Hidden) MediaCom was named Agency of the Year, the only award where nominations were generated by a PPA member survey. PPA Advertiser of the Year went to Procter & Gamble.
