The chain most recently worked with Libertine for its on-site branding. Prezzo is running a social media campaign that asks customers to share pictures of themselves enjoying its new menu on Twitter and Instagram to win a meal for four.
TPG Capital acquired Prezzo for £300 million at the start of the year. The company, whose headquarters are in Essex, has more than 200 individually designed restaurants across the UK.
The restaurant trade has recently faced a backlash over the issue of staff tips. Prezzo takes a 10 per cent cut of the tips paid by card to its waiting staff, which is to cover credit card fees and payroll. The company said cash tips are retained in full by its staff.
Prezzo and TPG Capital did not return Campaign’s request for comment.
