TONY GRANGER, Executive creative director, Saatchi & Saatchi. Granger arrived in London from New York in March to head up Saatchi & Saatchi's creative department. He spent 14 years at TBWA/Hunt Lascaris, and then took the top creative job at Bozell in New York in 2001. He was instrumental in making it the most successful US agency at Cannes that year.

ROONEY CURRUTHERS, Founder, VCCP

Curruthers has worked on ads for some of the world's biggest brands since starting out at BMP DDB. While at WCRS as creative director, he worked on the launch ads for Orange, and then became executive creative director at FCB in San Francisco. He returned in 2002 to found Vallance Curruthers Coleman Priest, launching BT's O2 brand.

JAMES LOWTHER, Chairman, M&C Saatchi

Lowther started out at Hobson Bates and joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 1977. There, he worked on award-winning campaigns for Castlemaine and BA, becoming deputy chairman in 1989. In 1995 he became joint creative director at M&C Saatchi. Since becoming chairman in 2000, he has continued to work on campaigns such as Fosters.

In our search for talent around the world, we turned to two of the Czech Republic's top creatives to find out what's hot in Prague.

JAKUB KONOPASEK, Creative director, Lowe GGK

Jakub Konopasek is Prague born and bred. He lived for over a decade in the United States, where he was art director at Poohjo Partners in San Francisco in the mid 1990s. In 1996, he returned to the Czech Republic to become senior art director at Ammirati Puris Lintas. In 2000, he moved to Lowe GGK Prague to take up his current position of creative director. Travel and sport are among his favourite pastimes.

LESTER TULLET, Creative director, Ledoborec

New Zealand-born Tullet has lived and worked in Prague for the past five years. Working his way across Europe, Tullet was made creative director at Leo Burnett Prague where he worked for four years. He joined the Prague-based agency, Ledoborec last year as its creative director. Tullett, who "enjoys seeing the world" was voted best art director in the history of the Czech Republic while he was at Leo Burnett.
