Pullan promoted to Emap strategic brand and marketing role

LONDON - Emap has appointed David Pullan, the managing director of FHM Worldwide and Emap East, to a new role across its consumer magazines, broadcast and digital businesses.

Pullan becomes the strategic marketing and brand development director for Emap Consumer Media and Emap Radio.

His task is to develop new platforms and markets for Emap brands such as Kiss, Magic, Closer and Heat. This follows his success in taking FHM into new areas such as downloads for games consoles.

Emap has yet to announce a successor to Pullan at FHM Worldwide and Emap East. Pullan said: "My new role is to accelerate our existing brands to make them more famous and valuable for the company and the audiences they serve."
