DMB&B has revealed the latest spot in its Fiat Punto TV campaign continuing the theme of the Punto woman ’getting one over’ her man.

continuing the theme of the Punto woman ’getting one over’ her man.



The latest spot shows a couple driving through a busy city to the

strains of Andy William’s Music to Watch Girls go by. As the woman

drives, her boyfriend is seen gazing appreciatively out of the window at

a string of beautiful women.



Tiring of his antics, the girl pulls over to the side of the road, puts

her head out of the car window and beckons a gorgeous man over to the

car. She then grabs him and kisses him passionately as her stunned

boyfriend looks on.



They drive off amid strenuous protests from the boyfriend, but when the

couple pull up next to a sports car at the next set of traffic lights,

he shields his eyes from the pretty female driver.



Barry Cook, DMB&B’s managing director, said: ’We’re not positioning the

Punto as purely a woman’s or a man’s car but actually as a really good

small car. The idea for the campaign came from the situations where men

and women interact when driving.’



The ’spirito di Punto’ campaign has been running for three years.

’Beautiful girls’ is the third in the series which includes

’map-reading’ and ’back-seat driver’.



The new campaign was written by Steve Campbell and art directed by

Trevor Webb. It was directed by Frank Budgen through Gorgeous and will

break on national television next week. Media buying is by MediaVest.
