QUOTE OF THE WEEK

For those who thought the director, Tarsem, was joking when he compared himself to Picasso in the Commercials Book (Feature, 27 February) here's the text in full: 'When I was at film school, a guy asked me: 'What should I read, what should I look at so that I can improve my work?' I told him it was the wrong question. I know it's a cliche, but it's like when Picasso was asked how he dared to charge so much for a painting that only took 30 minutes. He answered that it actually took him 45 years and 30 minutes.'
