Rapier strengthens creative operation with Saatchis team

Rapier is strengthening its creative department with the

appointment of a former Saatchi & Saatchi team.



Nick Schon, an art director, joins Rapier along with Roger Nokes, the

copywriter who created the "I can't believe it's not butter"

campaign.



Schon, 42, and Nokes, 46, will act as support for Rapier's creative

director, John Townshend, and deputy creative director, Roger Pearce.

Schon's creative highlights include award-winning work for the Joint

Israel Appeal.



The appointments follow the hiring of Deborah James and Chris Lapham, a

young team who previously worked at Alphabet Advertising. Rapier has

also appointed Les Welch, a former Leagas Delaney creative, as head of

design.
