Debenhams has predicted that it will be able to announce a growth in profits this year, thanks to a restructure that saw the company convert 530,000 sq ft of trading space from concessions to own-label brands.

Barclays is the most complained about bank, a report by the Financial Ombudsman Service has shown. A total of 8,283 complaints were made about Barclays during the six months of this year, ahead of Lloyds TSB which received 6,947 complaints and Bank of Scotland, which was complained about 5,804 times.
