Red Magazine boosts online presence with shopping site

LONDON - Red Magazine, the Hachette Filipacchi glossy, is launching a home shopping website.

It is taking its Red Direct brand, which currently exists as a home shopping catalogue, online with a new website.

The website will offer items such as bags, jewellery and products for the home that are also available via the catalogue, which comes with the magazine.

Red is also relaunching its main website by the start of April to more closely reflect the magazine.

Julie Harris, general manager of Hachette Filipacchi's women's group, said: "The launch of the new Red Direct website is testament to the ongoing popularity of the Red brand."

Red's circulation is on the rise, having grown 2.5% to 196,719 in the last round of ABCs.
