British royals have been snubbed by the ad industry in a new survey
of 140 marketing experts. According to the survey, lesser-known foreign
royals are more desirable for product endorsements. The top royal was
Queen Rania of Jordan, whose image would be worth £1.3 million.
The most desirable British royal was the Queen Mother, who came fifth.
It was felt she would be perfect for advertising tea-sets or household
