REVIEW: Edgar Bronfman plans to create new media empire

Edgar Bronfman, the heir to the Seagram whisky fortune, is planning to create a new media empire from the ashes of Vivendi Universal. Bronfman bought Universal's assets in the mid-90s and sold them to Vivendi in 2000. Bronfman has teamed up with Cablevision, a US media company, to bid for its movie, music and cable TV units. - The Sunday Times.
