Ogilvy & Mather has been handed a task aimed at warning parents
about the dangers of allowing children to have unsupervised access to
internet chatrooms. O&M was given the project without a competitive
pitch by COI Communications as Home Office ministers are understood to
be keen to get the campaign under way as soon as possible. O&M is COI's
stand-by agency, which it uses when there is not time to run a full
pitch. The work, which is expected to include press ads, will break in
November. - Marketing.
