REVIEW: Pearson admits sharp drop in income

Pearson, the publishing company, has admitted it is suffering the worst slump in advertising since the early 70s, after suffering a sharp drop in income. The drop in revenues at FT Group was the main reason for total Pearson sales falling 3 per cent to £1.81 billion in the first half of 2002. - General release.
