Molson Coors is to speak to agencies about its international media business in one of several global account reviews taking place.

Molson Coors has worked with Zenith in the UK since 2009. Initiative is its media agency in the US, and MEC in Canada. It is expected to run a review process that will conclude next March.

Mars has launched an estimated £400m media buying review in the UK, Germany, China and four other regions. Mars spends about $1.7bn globally per year on advertising and is the seventh-biggest advertiser in the UK, where it has used Zenith for more than 20 years and spends approximately £90m a year.

HMD Global, the company formed to relaunch Nokia smartphones, has called a global creative pitchJ Walter Thompson won Nokia’s £80m creative account in 2013, the last time the brand called a pitch. 

The NSPCC has opened talks with agencies ahead of a potential digital reviewIt is understood that Leo Burnett, which handles creative work for the children’s charity, would be unaffected if the talks progress to a formal pitch.
