Sir Ben Kingsley returns as Don Logan in the name of charity

Sir Ben Kingsley has reprised the Don Logan character he played in the Jonathan Glazer film Sexy Beast for the first in a series of ads from Ad Aid to promote the Live Aid DVD.

The four ads were created by Glazer and the Campbell Doyle Dye creative director, Walter Campbell. They were written by Louis Mellis and David Scinto, the writers of Sexy Beast, and directed by Glazer. Founded by Campbell and Glazer, Ad Aid is also looking at producing a charity cut of the Guinness "surfer" spot. Meanwhile, Wieden & Kennedy is producing a new version of its recent "grrrrr" Honda animation.

To donate airtime to the campaign, call CDD on (020) 7483 9800.
