The newly rebranded HSBC Midland Bank is unveiling a TV campaign
through St Luke’s to launch its Individual Savings Accounts.
St Luke’s gathered together 600 members of the public to shoot the
commercials, which feature a crowd of people raising their hands in
answer to questions about their finances.
They were filmed in Stockport market by Rupert Sanders through Outsider
The ads are a continuation of the ’let’s sort money out’ branding
campaign in which people are urged to take control of their finances
with the help of the bank.
In the new commercials, people are asked questions that imply their
lives are being controlled by money, such as: ’How many of us have no
idea where our money goes?’
The campaign breaks on 10 April and will be supported by press ads later
The ads were written by Chris Wright and art directed by Jules
Media planning and buying are through New PHD.
