Starbucks goes 'Glam' for Pride

Starbucks celebrated its sponsorship of the Pride of London parade this weekend by wrapping stores in Pride and serving specially themed Frappucinos.

As gold sponors of Pride, 240 Starbucks employees marched in the parade, which took place on 8 July.

Maria Sebastian, Starbucks' senior vice-president, brand, said: "Diversity's always been a core part of our brand. We've always been known for creating welcoming and inclusive environments; whether it's in our stores or in the broader communities that we serve. So we're really excited to be in our third year as a gold sponsor for Pride of London."

Nine Starbucks stores were wrapped in Pride branding, as well as nine stores along the parade route serving Frappucinos, topped with rainbow-coloured heart sprinkles.

Five of the coffee chain's outlets also featured Glam Stops, where parade-goers were able to get into the festival spirit with glitter makeup from Gypsy Shrine.
