Starcom Motive wins EasyValue media account

The task of launching the new comparison shopping site was divided between offline and online activity, with Mediavest pitching against Profero and Optimedia for the internet side of the business and Starcom Motive tackling Carat and Matters Media for the offline planning and buying. The two victorious agencies are understood to have collaborated on the pitches.

EasyValue.com, which is set for launch by the end of the year, is the latest extension of the Easy brand following the launch of EasyEverything cafés and car rental service EasyEverything.

The B|Com3 group merged the Starcom Motive and MediaVest networks on an international basis earlier this summer, with Starcom's Mark Cramner taking the title of chief executive for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. However, the two agencies remain separate in the UK.
