Stella Cidre's hipster poolside floral suit targets cider lovers and fashion victims

A hipster beard and supreme self-confidence are recommended, though not required, if you're going to successfully sport Stella Artois's floral splash-proof suit jacket and shorts combo while being louche at the poolside, with the brewer launching a limited edition run to celebrate two new Cidre variants.

Le Poolwear has been designed in collaboration with boutique fashion label You Must Create (YMC) to celebrate the launch of Stella’s Cidre Elderflower and Cidre Peach variants.

The pairing is available to pre-order online in three prints, but doesn't come cheap at £270 a combo (jacket £195 and shorts £75), so probably not for those of you sitting on the fence.

The lead design is a garish amalgam of elderflower, peach, raspberry, apple and pear set against a pastel blue background.

Jimmy Collins and Fraser Moss, co-founders of YMC, said in a joint statement: "Le Poolwear is an impeccable blend of sartorial skill with continental elegance and practicality. It is destined to be this summer’s trendiest item for all cider connoisseurs."
