- Sunday Business, the weekly UK business newspaper, has appointed Lansdown Conquest to handle its advertising account following a three-way competitive pitch.
Lansdown presented against BMP DDB and Leagas Delaney to win the business, which was previously held by DMB&B. DMB&B declined to repitch.
Sunday Business says it plans to spend more than £2 million, with an initial focus on television. Media buying remains with MediaCom/TMBG and is unaffected by the review.
The newspaper, which launched last February, reached its promised 50,000 weekly circulation in the Audit Bureau of Circulations figures released in November. The advertising strategy will take the newspaper forward as an established brand rather than a launch title.
The below-the-line business was also under review and the paper has appointed Mediator to handle a national direct marketing campaign.
