A TV ad for The Sunday Times recreates scenes from iconic artworks in a single take. The spot, by Grey London, promotes the newspaper’s revamped Culture section. It opens with a man in a pose reminiscent of Rodin’s The Thinker. The scene then becomes a Forrest Gump pastiche before a prop change recreates the Mad Men title sequence. There are also nods to Reservoir Dogs, Daft Punk and Michelangelo’s The Creation Of Adam. The work was created by Jonathan Rands and Johan Leandersson, and directed by Us through Academy.
