The BBC has appointed Sunshine to work on a campaign to promote BBC Three's reinvention as a digital-only channel after a pitch.

Other agencies involved included Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Lucky Generals, which pulled out at an earlier stage.

The BBC’s marketing team is awaiting final approval from the BBC Trust on BBC Three’s move to online only before revealing details of the advertising campaign.

Sunshine’s recently completed management line-up comprises: Al MacCuish, Kit Hawkins and Gideon Simeloff, who are the partners; the managing director, Nadya Powell; the executive creative director, Hollie Newton; and Jenny Howard and Gemma Knox, who were recently promoted to head of strategy and head of business growth respectively.
