As Sunshine’s first and, so far, only business director, Tait will report into the agency’s chief executive, Kit Hawkins.

Tait has relocated from the US, where she was on a career break. Before that she worked as a group account director at Wieden & Kennedy London, working on Nokia and Save The Children.

She has also previously worked at Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, where she was a board account director and worked on Lloyds TSB.

Hawkins said: "We’ve had a fantastic 12 months, doubling the size of the business and, in the process, building a team to help manage that. Sophie is a perfect fit with Sunshine’s innovative, creative and collaborative culture."

Sunshine’s work for Baileys has included persuading the brand to sponsor the Women’s Prize for Fiction and then creating a TV show around the event.
