Syzygy merges with France's NetForce

- Digital consultancy Syzygy has announced it is to merge with French new media agency, NetForce.

The merger will extend Syzygy's reach across Europe. The agency, in which WPP has a minority stake, already has offices in Germany.

NetForce, which is a subsidiary of French marketing service, HighCo, includes AXA, BNP and L'Oreal-Kerastase among its clients.

Chris Robson, chief executive officer of Syzygy, said: "NetForce is clearly a strategic fit. We intend to build on NetForce's position as a leading French agency, while integrating it with Syzygy's European ebusiness service offer."

Frederic Chevalier, chief executive officer of HighCo, will join Syzygy's board, and Herve Faucon, managing director of NetForce, becomes managing director of Syzygy France.
