TBWA creative duo defects to Fallon

Fallon has signed the creative team of Chris Bovill and John Allison from TBWA\London, as the shop begins to staff up following its recent Asda win.

Former Campaign Faces To Watch, Bovill and Allison met at Manchester Metropolitan University and joined TBWA in 2002. Their reel includes ads for Muller, Sony PSP and Eurostar. The creative duo won two D&AD Pencils in their first year at TBWA for the John Smith's "babies" ad.

Fallon's executive creative director, Richard Flintham, said: "Chris and John have such a brilliant understanding of what we're trying to achieve. They haven't even started yet, and already they feel like great ambassadors for our business."

Fallon won the £45 million Asda advertising account in a shoot-out against the incumbent, Publicis, in January.

There are still questions concerning the number of former Publicis staff the agency will have to employ under the terms of a Tupe transfer, but Fallon is widely expected to go on a recruitment drive to service the account.

Bovill said: "Fallon is the hottest agency around, with some of the most exciting clients and creative minds."
