Teamtalk 252 sets top-line team

Teamtalk 252 has completed its management line-up, adding former BBC sports editor Brendan Fatchett to the team which has already attracted former TalkSport agency sales head Tony Sweeney as sales director.

Fatchett, who joins Teamtalk as managing editor (radio) from BBC Midlands Today will report to Teamtalk Media Group sports director Ian Holding. Mark Woodhead, who has headed the commercial division of Teamtalk Media Group since April 2000, takes on the role of commercial director.

Teamtalk 252 will launch on February 25, as Britain's first national radio station dedicated entirely to broadcasting sport 24 hours a day.

The station will also be available to listeners via Sky Digital and on the web.

Holding said: "Sports fans will come to know Teamtalk 252 as the only station where they can tune in and guarantee to find sport.

"We have a great team in place and an enviable number of sports journalists who will enable us to deliver the broadest sports coverage possible."
