1. Ladbrokes’ Depay ad banned
Ladbrokes has become the latest bookmaker to have an ad banned for including a picture of a footballer aged under 25. The ad featured Manchester United’s 21-year-old Memphis Depay.

2. Teeman departs Bloomberg 
Matt Teeman, the commercial director of Bloomberg Media in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has left after 15 months.

3. VW resumes ads in the UK
Volkswagen has begun advertising again in the UK as it seeks to shore up sales after the emissions scandal. The car giant has focused on low-key radio, press and online activity.

4. Clarkson joins Yahoo as UK MD
Nigel Clarkson, the Weve managing director, has joined Yahoo as its UK managing director and country commercial director.

5. Maxus sets up content arm
Maxus has launched a branded content arm called Chorus. The division will work on projects with clients including Red Bull, Endemol Beyond, BFI, MTV and the Institute of Directors.

6. Willmott takes Atomic role 
Atomic London has hired Howard Willmott, a former group creative director at DDB, for the new role of head of creative innovation. 

7. Bisto signs BBC Good Food deal
Bisto, the gravy brand owned by Premier Foods, is sponsoring BBC Good Food’s "Take it to 10" campaign encouraging people to widen their kitchen repertoire.

8. Perkins and Rapp part company
John Perkins, the managing director of Rapp’s London office, has left the agency after 20 years to work on a new venture.

9. Isobel lands Savills business
Savills has named Isobel the lead creative agency for its residential estate agency arm. The competitive pitch was run by Oystercatchers.

10. Outdoor Planning Awards open
The Outdoor Planning Awards opened for entry last night. It is the tenth anniversary of the awards, which are run by Clear Channel, and the first time that they have been organised in association with Campaign.
