Tesco Bank hires Richard Larcombe as brand and marketing director

Richard Larcombe, formerly Virgin Media's brand and marketing director, has joined Tesco Bank in the same role.

Larcombe spent almost six years at the telecoms company, the last two as brand and marketing director.

He joined from Times and Sun publisher News International in 2010, in the role of advertising and sponsorship director.

In January 2015 Virgin Media appointed former British Airways marketer Kerris Bright as its CMO after leaving the post, formerly occupied by Jeff Dodds, vacant for 16 months.

Larcombe’s predecessor at Tesco Bank was Chris Pitt, who joined from HSBC in 2010 as director of marketing before returning to HSBC at the end of 2014.

Larcombe was featured in Marketing's Power 100 marketers in 2015.
