Wieden & Kennedy London's first TV ad for TK Maxx is a surreal spot highlighting the retailer's eclectic inventory.
It opens on a woman’s legs dangling from a hole in the ceiling as she explains how she met her dream bloke thanks to a trampoline and a new dress – both purchased at TK Maxx. The ad – the first of three – is supported by print, outdoor, digital, social and PR activity. W&K won the brand’s creative business in November last year. The work was written by Paddy Treacy, art directed by Mark Shanley and shot by Traktor through Rattling Stick. Mindshare handled media planning and buying.
