Tories use 'tosser' in anti-debt web drive

LONDON - The Conservative Party is attempting to ditch its stuffy image through new advertising by Karmarama that uses a "tosser" to warn against getting into debt.

The "tosser" film is the first of six "sort it" initiatives from the Tories. It will appear on websites including YouTube, handbag.com and FHM.com. It shows a young man being influenced by his "tosser inside" into spending more money than he can afford.

A spokesman for the Conservatives said: "It's about getting people to think about their own social responsibilities."
