Trebor Bassett has appointed new media marketing firm 4DC to develop an online strategy for its Butterkist brand.
The campaign will aim to target consumers who watch movies in their own homes. The strategy will involve partnering with an online entertainment site. Under the terms of the partnership, free Butterkist popcorn will be given away with video and DVD sales made from the site. Butterkist will take video reviews and content on DVD for the forthcoming website.
The promotion is part of an online marketing campaign, which will run across a number of entertainment and lifestyle sites.
WebRewards names Simon Millen as marketing director
LONDON (Campaign) - The pan-European online rewards programme, WebRewards, has appointed Simon Millen as marketing director.
Millen joins from Publicis, where he was account director on Ericsson. In his new role Millen will be responsible for marketing and brand development and will be instrumental in steering WebRewards to its planned launch this Spring.
