Francesca Newland does not like Spirit’s poster for Atlantic 252: ’A flaccid Big Ben is shown against a backdrop of flying bacon, accompanied by the line, ’London doesn’t get it.’ Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner, but neither did I. The idea is supposed to be that the youth station doesn’t broadcast in London and therefore has better coverage of national issues. Let’s hope that coverage is clearer than the station’s advertising.’
