TV marketing body in New Year launch

The Commercial Television Companies marketing initiative is to launch in January, when it will reveal a name, identity and action plan.

TV companies have created an eight-strong board of founding members to market the medium and a further eight-strong working group to tackle day-to-day issues.

The eight board members are: Graham Duff, the managing director of ITV Sales; Andy Barnes, the sales director of Channel 4; Mark Wood, the commercial director of Sky Media; Clive Crouch, the sales director of GMTV; Mark Howe, the managing director of IDS; Dee Forbes, the senior vice-president of ad sales at Turner; Nick Bampton, the managing director of Viacom Brand Solutions, and Mark White, the executive director of sales at five.
