UKTV's Julia Jordan joins Havas Media Group UK

Julia Jordan, the former executive director for business and operations at UKTV, has been named the managing director at Havas Media Group UK investment and digital.

She will lead the group’s specialist teams responsible for investment, digital, data and technology for clients.

Jordan will also oversee Havas Media Group’s investment and trading teams, as well as the specialist digital brands: Affiperf (trading desk); Socialyse (social media buying and strategy); Ecselis (digital performance); Mobext (full service mobile); WebNarrative (user experience and web build) and DBi (data and marketing technology consultancy).

She will also join the board and report into Paul Frampton, the group managing director at Havas Media Group UK.

"Julia’s distinctive leadership skills are well suited to managing effective teams in this media environment and will be a real asset to the next phase of implementing our #Havastogether positioning."

Jordan was at UKTV for seven years overseeing the technology and operations, compliance and regulatory affairs, ad-funded content and advertising sales teams. She left in August last year.

She began her career at ITV, and then moved to Channel 4 in 1992 for three years. Jordan has also worked at Virgin Media Television and Flextech Television.
