Umbro boots are serenaded by Real Madrid footballer for Valentine's Day

Football-boot brand Umbro has released a video that parodies classic love songs for Valentine's Day.

"I knew the first time I saw you that you were special," Real Madrid defender Pepe sings in Portuguese at a white grand piano covered in rose petals.

As the song progresses it becomes apparent that he is singing to his Umbro Speciali football boots.

"Pepe’s love for the Umbro Speciali is footballing legend and we wanted to have some fun with it this Valentine’s Day. It seems to have struck a chord with football fans, achieving more than 1m views in three days," said Dave Palmer, the executive creative director of the agency behind the ad, Love.
