Unicef picks Bester Burke's Aids poster

The winner of the Clear Channel/Unicef poster challenge, run in conjunction with Campaign, is unveiled this week at events in London, New York and Johannesburg.

Whoopi Goldberg, Sir Roger Moore and Lord Richard Attenborough will unveil the winning creative work, which was chosen from more than 300 entries submitted by agencies around the world.

The winning poster answered a brief to raise awareness of the global HIV and Aids epidemic as it affects children and young people. It was submitted by Stuart McCreadie and Graeme Taylor of Bester Burke in South Africa and shows a child's drawing of two gravestones labelled "mummy" and "daddy".

The creative will run in 50 countries on multiformat posters, street furniture and bus-sides in what Unicef claims will be the first truly global outdoor campaign.
